What is the returns period?

You may return any product for any reason within 28 days from when you ordered them for a refund or exchange.

Please note – Products should be unused and include all packaging and accessories. Failure to do this will reduce the value of refunds provided.

You must send back the products no later than 14 days after you contact us to cancel your contract. This right of return is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights.

How can I return a product?

In the first instance please visit the contact us section of our website. You will need to provide your order number and the name, address, and email address used to make the order.

A member of the team will then be able to advise how to return the item and will arrange for a full refund when the item is received at our warehouse.

Please note. For your protection, ChickenGuard recommend that you use a recorded delivery service as we cannot be held responsible for goods not received.

Will I receive a full refund?

To receive a full refund for a returned product, you must return it in ‘as new’ condition, together with all original packaging and accessories.

The 28-day period is intended to allow for delivery and provide you with the opportunity to evaluate and review a product as you would in a physical store. Any signs of handling beyond this may result in a reduction of the total amount refunded.

We may also reduce the refund amount to reflect the value of any accessories not returned.

We will notify you of your refund via e-mail within a reasonable period of time, usually within five to ten working days of receiving your return, and refunds are made to the same payment method you used for purchase.

What happens if I have received a defective item?

If you are having trouble with your new ChickenGuard product or believe it is defective, please visit the contact us section of our website immediately to report it. You can review our Warranty policy here.

Do you cover the postage for returned items?

You will be responsible for the cost of delivery to return the products where you cancel your contract of sale and request a return within 28 days of order. You must send back the products no later than 14 days after you contact us to cancel your contract of sale.

Please visit the contact us section of our website to find out where you need to return your items to (this varies depending on your location). You will then need proof of postage paid so we can arrange a refund.

Customers will be responsible for any customs charges for all returns.

Can I return a product without proof of a purchase?

Returns and exchanges can only be processed with proof of purchase. This can be the sales receipt or an online sales invoice.

Can I return a product for a refund even though I bought it from a third party?

Refunds can only be processed for customers who bought their products directly from our online shop. If you want to return your product for a refund, please contact the original seller for a return and refund.

Exceptions to this policy:

  1. All return and re-shipping charges are the customer’s liability.
  2. We will refund shipping costs if there is a fault with the product. However, we cannot accept responsibility for return or re-shipping costs incurred when returning non-faulty items. And every effort should be made to fix the issues and items only returned with agreed consent of the customer support team.
  3. We will not issue a refund if a customer has tampered with or misused the unit
  4. All items should be unused.
